目前多媒体技术尤其是网络新技术在中学课堂教学中的应用越来越多,在中学历史课堂教学中的影响也很大,使得中学历史教学方式发生了重大的变化。教学由教师讲授变为引导;教学的呈现方式由抽象变为形象;学生学习由被动变为主动;教学方式由固定模式变为自由开放模式;教学评级由教师的单向变为自评、互评。这样的教学方式既可以扩大知识容量、增强教学内容的直观性和形象性,提高历史教学效果;也可以调动学生学习的主动性、积极性,实现了历史教学方式的转变。
