英雄罗阳曾说过:“航空报国是使命,而不是荣誉。”回顾百年中国航空发展史,这一使命的轨迹清晰可见。1906年,在美留学的冯如受严重损害中国利益的《朴茨茅斯和约》刺激,愤而立下了“航空救国”之志。这一主张得到孙中山的大力倡导,“航空救国”论逐渐深入人心。抗战时期,“航空救国”成为继“科教救国”、“实业救国”后又一个有着广泛影响和具体行动目标的救国主张。新中国成立后,发展航空工业的历史重任落在了中国共产党人的肩上。几代中国人都明白:中国是大国,大国天空不能让外国飞机横冲直撞。
