建设创新型国家是我国面对国际竞争与挑战而制定的适应社会主义现代化建设全局的重大决策。面对这一新形势及新要求,图书馆作为知识创新的主要机构,应以发展为主题、服务为主线、信息技术为依托、合作共享为基础,为建设创新型国家与和谐社会做出贡献。文章主要从图书馆与建设创新型国家间的有机联系、在建设创新型国家中的作用以及在创新型国家的发展对策等三方面进行讨论,并在创新型国家建设中的发展对策方面作出积极的思考,提出应借鉴国外模式,通过完善图书馆联盟,拓宽服务领域,创建新型数字图书馆等方式,为我国图书馆改革提供科学依据,为
