The Yunnan Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research is an independent research institute under the jurisdiction of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Water Resources. Under the direct leadership of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Water Resources and Hydropower, the Institute of Water Science began the reform of the science and technology system in 85 years. In accordance with the requirements of the State Council to deepen the reform of the science and technology system, it attempted to direct the scientific and technological contingent to the technology market, thus beginning a breakthrough in economic efficiency. Since the year of 89, the institute has gradually increased the intensity of reforms, changed the operating mechanism, focused on the construction of the service economy, and made rapid progress in the two major themes of scientific and technological achievements. It has actively participated in the province’s construction of 0.25 million mu of high and stable production.
