伸缩液压缸由两个或多个活塞缸套装而成,前级活塞缸的活塞是后级活塞缸的缸筒。对于通用的伸缩液压缸来说,当压力油通入缸筒右腔和左腔时,各级活塞按其有效工作面积的大小依次动作,有效工作面积大的先动,小的后动。最近,美刊介绍了一种各级活塞能同时动作的伸缩缸(图示为两级),其结构特点是前线有杆腔C的环形面积,刚好是后级的活塞面积。
