杨抡籍贯虽是云南,但是他长期生活在金陵,其与古琴谱之缘也就是很自然之事了。并且,在明代万历年间的金陵琴界,杨抡还是“琴歌派”的重要代表人物。杨抡辑《真传正宗琴谱》(又名《太古遗音》),后又加入《伯牙心法》作为后编,是明代三大琴歌曲谱之一,具有颇高的艺术价值和学术价值。杨抡,号桐庵,又号鹤浦,明云南鹤庆府(今鹤庆等县)白族人。据《明清进士题名碑录索引》载,杨抡是万历三十四年(1606年)“丙午科”举人第42名、万历四十一年(1613年)
