The International Journal of Librarianship is an open access journal compiled and published by the American Chinese Association of Librarians (CALA), a peer-reviewed journal in the field of library science and information science. As a newly created periodical with an international perspective, it aims to share new ideas and progress in cross-border library science. After the successful launch of the first issue, we now collect special issue articles. The special issue will focus on the rapidly evolving field of data services and data management and the emerging new technologies, rules and theories that are being faced by global librarians
