50多年来,GM公司一直在为北美和全世界铁路部门提供一系列精心设计和性能优良的产品。从20年代的煤气电力动车、30年代中期的FT货运机车开始,直到现在的60系列内燃机车。GM公司努力向用户提供最新、最先进的技术,使之最有效地回收投资。为了保持以往这种主导地位,GM公司己着手一项计划,在过去己获成绩的基础上,为铁路提供一系列不断改进性能的电传动内燃机车。此外,为发扬多年来的传统,一直在寻找且现己找到了一个在三相交流传动技术方面在世界享有盛誉的企业,从而导致了GM公司与联邦德国Erlangen西门子公司之间的合作。到目前为止,已合作生产出2台样品机车。第一台样车是一台试验型货运内燃机车,主要用来进行试验和开发。第二台样车为F69PH型内燃机车。2台样车都采用三相传动系统,即由三相逆变器输出功率去供给异步电动机驱动轮对。
For more than 50 years, GM has been providing a range of well-engineered and performance-friendly products to North America and the world’s railways. From the gas electric car in the 1920s, the FT freight car in the mid-1930s until now the 60 series diesel locomotive. GM strives to provide users with the latest, state-of-the-art technology to make the most efficient return on investment. In keeping with its dominance in the past, GM has embarked on a program that will provide railroads with a series of electrically driven diesel locomotives based on past achievements. In addition, it has been searching and now has found a company with a worldwide reputation for three-phase AC drive technology in order to develop its tradition for many years, resulting in the cooperation between GM and Erlangen Siemens AG in the Federal Republic of Germany. So far, we have cooperated to produce 2 sets of sample locomotives. The first prototype is a pilot-type freight diesel locomotive, mainly used for testing and development. The second prototype for the F69PH diesel locomotive. Two sample cars are used three-phase transmission system, that is, from the three-phase inverter output power to supply asynchronous motor drive wheel.
