首都北京,群英荟萃,丁卯之年,殊堪庆贺。值此《国际大陆岩石圈的构造演化与动力学讨论会》——第三届全国构造地质学术会议胜利召开之际,谨向中外构造地质学界空前团结的盛会致以热烈的祝贺,特辟专辑以示献礼,并衷心祝愿大会圆满成功!世界在巨变,科技在发展,特别是近二十年来,多尺度、多层次、多类型的构造地质学作为地质学的一个主要分支正在全方位迅猛发展。结果,吐故纳新,陈旧的概念被抛弃,不少学说得到充实和更新,崭新的学术思想和概念层出不穷。总之,人们的地球观、构造观和方法论,已经或正在发生着突破性的变革。变革不仅来自于新技术、新方法等研究手段的现代化,多学科、多兵种的大联合,而更主要还是导源于地质工作者重视实践、餐风宿露、艰苦奋进的实际观察和慎密的思索。

On this occasion, “Symposium on Tectonic Evolution and Dynamics of the Continental Lithosphere” - On the occasion of the victory of the Third National Conference on Structural Geology, I would like to extend my warm congratulation on the unparalleled grand gathering of Chinese and foreign tectonic geologists. To show gifts, and sincerely wish the conference a complete success! The world is undergoing tremendous changes. With the development of science and technology, especially in the past 20 years, the multi-scale, multi-level and multi-type structural geology has been developing rapidly in all directions as a major branch of geology. As a result, new and old concepts have been abandoned, many theories have been enriched and updated, and new academic ideas and concepts have been emerging. In short, people’s earth view, tectonic concept and methodology have been or are undergoing a breakthrough change. The change comes not only from the modernization, multidisciplinary and multi-unit joint alliance of research methods such as new technologies and new methods, but also mainly from the practical observation of geological workers’ emphasis on practice, food and accommodation, hard work, and careful thinking.
