全国科技情报工作会议于1986年10月13日至18日在北京召开。 国家科委情报局局长汪廷烟同志主持了会议。他首先回顾了我国科技情报工作二十年来所走过的道路,对当前的形势进行了分析,对今后的工作进行了安排。 当前,我国经济体制改革和科技体制改革的深入发展,有力地推动了科技情报工作的变革,引起了人们思想观念上的深刻变化,在情报工作实践和政策上提出了许多问题。科技情报工作已成为决定企业竞争能力的重要力量,领导决策的重要依据,科学研究工作的重要手段和智力开发的重要途径。新技术革命的浪潮,和我国改革、开放政策的实施,使科技情报工作面临着严峻的挑战！
National Science and Technology Intelligence Working Conference was held in Beijing from October 13 to October 18, 1986. Comrade Wang Tingyan, director of the State Science and Technology Intelligence Bureau, presided over the meeting. First of all, he reviewed the road that our country’s scientific and technological intelligence work has passed in the past 20 years, analyzed the current situation and arranged for future work. At present, the in-depth development of China’s economic structural reform and the reform of science and technology system have effectively promoted the transformation of science and technology intelligence work, aroused profound changes in people’s ideology and concepts and put forward many problems in intelligence work practices and policies. Scientific and technological intelligence work has become an important force that determines the competitiveness of enterprises, an important basis for leading decision-making, an important means of scientific research and an important way of intellectual development. The tide of new technology revolution and the implementation of China’s reform and opening-up policy will make the work of science and technology intelligence a serious challenge.
