1999年5～10月在海南省琼海市的三口虾塘内对南美白对虾进行了高产养殖试验。试验结果表明,南美白对虾对环境适应能力强,未发生虾病,成活率达93.9％以上;生长速度快,90d左右养殖体重达15g/尾以上,110d左右养殖体重达25g/尾;经济效益好,产量高,达451.5～882kg/亩,饲料系数小,在1:5以下,是海水养殖的优良品种。
From May to October in 1999, three high-yielding experiments were conducted on white shrimp of Penaeus vannamei in three shrimp ponds in Qionghai, Hainan Province. The results showed that P. vannamei had a good adaptability to the environment and no shrimp disease occurred. The survival rate was above 93.9%. The growth rate was fast. The body weight reached 15g / tail at 90d and 25g / tail at 110d. The economic benefit Good, high yield, up to 451.5 ~ 882kg / mu, feed coefficient is small, below 1: 5, is an excellent breed of marine aquaculture.
