新制订的《音乐课程标准(实验稿)》指出:“音乐课程的评价应充分体现全面推进素质教育的精神,着眼于评价的教育、激励与改善的功能,通过科学的音乐课程评价,有效地促进学生发展。”德国教育家第斯多惠有这样一句名言:“教学的艺术不在于传授的本领,而在于激励、唤醒、鼓舞。”教师在教学中善用评价,能使学生情绪兴奋,记忆力增强,创造性思维活跃,教学效果倍增;反之则学生情绪得不到调动,智力活动水平降低,教学效果甚微。换言之,教师行之有效的教学评价,能使学生始终保持兴奋的情绪积极学习。因此,教师在课堂教学时,巧妙运用教学评价,可以激发学生学习的积极性,从而优化课堂教学。
