电子计算机的主体,大部分是由逻辑元件和存貯器件之类的数字元件所组成的,它可以说是最典型的数字设备。因此,超大型计算机的噪音(译者注:这里指噪音电平)防护措施也基本上是数字设备的措施。但是,以处理能力和规模著称的超大型计算机有其特有的问题。这就是,为提高处理能力必须研制更高速度、更高密度的元件并确立其组装技术。此外为扩大系统的规模,还有设备相互之间的问题,例如装置间的信号系统和接地系统中的问题。还有从外部进来的噪音的防护,以及为防止计算机本身发生的噪音不影响其他机器所必须采取的措施等。
