辽宁省台安县位于松辽平原西部,全县河流貫穿,地势低窪,年平均气溫7.2度(攝氏)。無霜期为160～165天。平均降雨量在700毫米左右,多集中在七、八、九月份,素有春旱秋涝之称。该县黄沙坨人民公社桥坨生产大队的党政干部,响应了党提出的干部参加生产与領导生产的号召,在生产与工作兩不誤的原則下,培植了4.7亩的薏米指揮田(东北的垧等于10亩即1,000平方米),根据农業八字宪法的要求,积極采取措施,經过一年的努力,用了262个劳动日。获得了垧产万斤的高产纪录。茲將生产措施总結如下,供各地生产中的参考。
