粟锈病是谷子栽培区普遍发生的一种病害,个别年份和地方为害较重。1983年秋在我院谷子品种资源抗锈性鉴定区内发现两株谷莠严重感染锈病。谷莠是谷子地里一种杂草,其分布远不如金狗尾(Setaria glauca)及青狗尾草(S.viridis)广泛。其株形、穗形及叶片形态颇似谷子。分蘖力强,成熟期较晚,但其种子很象青狗尾草,呈灰白色。其不同点主要是植株比青狗尾草更高大,花序大,叶宽,小穗分化明显。据1984年苏联远东边区植物索引里记载,其学名为Setaria viridis(L.)Beauv.var major(Gaud.)Pospich[S.gigantea(Franch et Savat)Marcino],[S.pycnocoma(Steud.)Henard ex NaKai]是青狗尾草的变种。
Mildew rust is a disease commonly occurred in the cultivation of millet, individual years and places more serious damage. In the autumn of 1983, the rust resistance of millet cultivars in our hospital was found to be seriously infected with two rusts. Graminex is a weed in millet fields that is far less widely distributed than Setaria glauca and S. viridis. Its plant-shaped, spike-shaped and leaf-shaped like millet.
