The area of soil erosion in the Qiongjiang Valley takes 75-71% of the total valley, and its average erosion index is 5645.6T/km2 every year. Because of this reason, this paper makes a suggestion of developing and protecting Sichuan subtropics: persisting in producing grain, revising the proportion of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, sideline and fishculture, promoting a diversified economy, making a good job of capital construction on farmland and water and soil conservation, being strict in law and discipline, and making rational development of resources.
