我国水力采煤技术经过43年的实践,已发展到比较成熟的阶段。但与其它国家相比,还存在一些差距。现科研单位与厂矿共同研制的一批科研成果,如SGWS—75型煤水刮板输送机;YSX型液控及SQ型手动水枪;以斜管沉淀仓为主装置的井下煤泥水澄清和循环复用工艺及设备;专为加快水采矿井巷道掘进而研制的EMS—75型以及水旱采通用的EBZ—75型半煤岩掘进机;DDM360型煤水泵、DNM300—80型煤泥泵;为加强水采生产管理和监测的微电脑超声波流量计、核密度计等均还未能广泛应用于生产。故要进一步提高水采矿井单产、工效,非常有必要依靠科技进步和加速科技成果转化,并选用先进科技监测设备,完善水采工艺,以促进水采矿井生产向集中、高产高效方面发展
