英美文学教学通常表现为被动地传授文学,忽视了文学是文化产物,必然受到文化的影响。文化教学引入的意义在于将文化教学从简单的文化知识层升华到文化精神层。将文化教学融入英美文学课程之中,对外语教学的文化目标及社会目标有重要意义。
Anglo-American literary teaching usually shows passive teaching of literature, ignoring the fact that literature is a cultural product and is bound to be influenced by the culture. The significance of introducing culture teaching lies in the sublimation of culture teaching from the simple cultural knowledge level to the cultural spiritual level. The integration of cultural teaching into English and American literature courses is of great significance to the cultural and social goals of foreign language teaching.
