After the excavation of the newly opened site in 1972, there were few related specialized research articles. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct exploratory research on the distribution and connotation features of the newly opened stream based on the published archaeological materials. The typical features of the new open-stream remains include sculptured fish scales, diamond-shaped pottery, a series of stoneware and bone implements of various kinds, burial systems appear in funeral customs, and cellars are used as funeral customs. After the combing of the remains with the typical features of the new open-stream remains in and outside China, it is found that the core distribution area of the newly opened-stream culture lies in the periphery of Xingkai Lake and the coastal area of Russia, which has a wide range of cultural transmission and can reach the lower reaches of Heilongjiang toward the north. Midstream, south to reach Jilin, Songliao watershed north of the region.
