随着改革开放的发展,我国的国际间交往日益增多,英语在社会生活中的用途越来越广泛。近二十年来,在我国开始学习英语的时限已由恢复高考时期的以大学为起点,迅速提前到中学、小学。目前,高师招收的学生,已不再需要以字母为起点,从零开始,普遍情况是大学英语专业录取的学生已掌握了相当数量的词汇,具备了一定的基础语法知识,并对英语这种语言有了一定的感性和理性认识。鉴于英语专业学生入学水平的不断提高,高师英语专业的课程设置也必须随着学生的实际水平的提高,按照高师培养规格而不断调整,力争达到优化的课程设置。对此,笔者对高师英语专业课程设置有如下几点思考。
With the development of reform and opening up, there has been an increasing number of international exchanges in our country and the use of English in social life has become more and more widespread. In the past 20 years, the time limit for starting to learn English in our country has been quickly advanced to secondary schools and primary schools by resuming the university entrance examination period. At present, students enrolled by normal colleges no longer need to use letters as a starting point. Starting from scratch, students in college English majors generally have acquired a considerable amount of vocabulary and have basic grammar knowledge. Language has a certain degree of perceptual and rational understanding. In view of the continuous improvement of English majors’ entry level, English majors in higher normal colleges must also adjust their curricula to meet the actual needs of students and strive to achieve optimal curriculum. In this regard, the author of the English majors in higher teacher training set the following points.
