我县地处桂北山区,有十一个公社,一百二十五个大队,二十六万七千八百多人。遵照毛主席关于“把医疗卫生工作的重点放到农村去”的伟大教导,县委加强了对妇幼卫生工作的领导,在全县范围内积极开展妇女病、儿童病的防治,大力推广新法接生。几年来,共培训接生员五百零七名、女赤脚医生一百二十八名,基本上做到平原地区每个自然村、山区每个生产队都有一名接生员,平均每个大队有一名女赤脚医生,全部配上接生箱和器械,有五十三个大队设有产室和产床,基本形成了农村妇幼保健网。几年来,全县新法接生率都在百分之九十五以上,新生儿成活率达到百分之九十九以上,基本消灭了产妇产褥热和新生儿破伤 My county is located in the mountains of northern Guangxi, there are 11 communes, 127 brigades, more than 267,800 people. Female barefoot doctors were all equipped with birth boxes and equipment. Fifty-three brigades had a delivery room and a delivery bed, and basically formed a rural maternity and child care network. Over the past few years, the county’s new law delivery rate is more than 95%, and the survival rate of newborns has reached more than 99%, basically eliminating maternal calving fever and neonatal trauma.
