本文选取了奥斯卡·王尔德最杰出的戏剧“The Importance of Being Earnest”的两个中文译本,并对其在以下几个方面进行比较分析:剧名的翻译;人名的翻译;文化意象的翻译;格言警句的翻译。旨在分析两种译本的优缺点以求有益于今后的翻译工作。
This article chooses Oscar Wilde’s two most famous Chinese plays, “The Importance of Being Earnest,” and compares and analyzes them in the following aspects: the translation of names, the translation of personal names, the translation of cultural images Translation of aphorism. The purpose is to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the two versions in order to be beneficial to future translation work.
