职工教育的职能是什么呢?就我国目前职工教育的现状而论,我认为可归结为如下五个方面:第一、是学校教育的代替。职工教育对于没有受过基础教育的职工是唯一可能的代替。第二、是学校教育的补充。对于受过普通教育,但是没有学完规定的内容的职工,职工教育可以补充他们未尽的学校教育。目前进行的青壮年双补就属于这类。第三、是学校教育的延长。职工就业前,虽然受过完整的普通教育,但由于种种原因,原来的知识和技能不够用了,要求继续学习。职工教育担负学校教育的进一步延
