1 在一个红荷飘香的季节,我来到韶山冲,在离韶山冲十多里的南塘彭立文家,找到了一位名叫毛爱桂的老人。他双目失明,躺在女儿楼房阶矶上的藤椅上。毛爱桂的祖父毛祖富,极为贫穷,在上屋场营造了几间茅屋。毛泽东的祖父毛恩普与哥哥毛恩农分家时,分在上屋场的祖屋。这么一个偶然的机缘,毛泽东便与毛爱桂结成了邻居。 1893年诞生于上屋场的毛泽东,比堂叔毛爱桂整整大19岁。毛泽东在南岸读私塾时,毛爱桂尚未诞生。只有当毛润之从长沙第一师范读书放假回家时,这个小堂叔爱桂光着两只泥脚板,瞧着毛泽东一身白生麻布长袍,风度翩翩,亮着一双乌金般的大眼,亲热地叫着:
