通过抗原和基因分析对肯尼亚一个都市(首都内罗毕)和三个农村地区胃肠炎儿童的轮状病毒作了鉴定。这些属于亚群Ⅱ和G血清Ⅰ型抗原地方株为最常见株,但检出两株罕见株。一株(NK59:亚群Ⅱ、G血清4型)在聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳具有一个附加RNA带,另一株(D202)亚群Ⅱ和G血清Ⅰ型则显示为短型RNA的抗原特异性,后者已适应生长于细胞培养中。
Rotavirus in gastroenteritis children in one city of Kenya (Nairobi) and three rural areas was identified by antigen and gene analysis. These local strains belonging to subgroups II and G serotype I antigens were the most common strains, but two rare strains were detected. One strain (NK59: subgroup II, G serotype 4) had an additional RNA band on polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and the other strain (D202) subgroup II and G serotype I showed antigen-specific short RNA The latter has been adapted to grow in cell culture.
