对零部件工作面相互位置不垂直度的测量,通常用精密直角尺或方水平仪来检查。但由于使用方水平仪必须先校正水平,而且读数误差值大;使用直角尺又受到测量范围的限制,不能精确反映偏差值。因此不能满足较高精度零件的加工及测量。我厂在制造Ⅰ型磨削夹具的附件——精密虎钳和滑块座时,遇到了由于工件硬度高(HRC 56)而无法用铲刮修正;由于相互位置的不垂直度要求高,
