‘哈姆林’和‘伏令夏’甜橙、‘默科特’桔橙和‘红玉’葡萄柚15种砧木的嫁按苗及自根苗以1.5×3.3米的栽距、2020株/公顷的密度定植。不同砧穗组合的生长速度、产量和果实品质各不相同。长势中等、结果早的组合优于强树势或矮化的组合。定植7年后,大多数植株的树冠达到了预定的大小。当年甜橙产量为23~75吨/公顷。在本试验中,长势和结果特性均佳的砧穗组合表现令人满意。然而,在佛州条件下进行高密栽植似乎并无优势,而低于1000株/公顷的中等密植可能较为适宜。
’Hamlin’ and ’vuxian’ sweet orange, ’Murcott’ orange and ’ruby’ grapefruit 15 kinds of rootstock seedlings and self-rooted shoots to 1.5 × 3.3 m planting distance, 2020 plants / Hectare density planting. The growth rate, yield and fruit quality of different scion combinations vary. The medium-growing, early-fruiting combination outperformed the strong tree or dwarfing combination. Seven years after planting, the canopy of most plants reached a predetermined size. The year’s orange production was 23-75 tons / ha. In this experiment, the combination of rootstocks with good growth and outcome characteristics performed satisfactorily. However, there appears to be no advantage in high-density planting under Florida conditions, while medium-density planting of less than 1000 / ha may be more appropriate.
