一、工農速成中學的方針、任務和性质工農速成中學是為了培养工农幹部和產業工人使成為各種高級專門人才,使成為建設新中国的堅强骨幹。這是建设新中国的根本之图;是使中国工业化的有力保證。因而不僅是為了满足工农幹部對於文化的要求,而且也是為了適應國家建設的需要。大家都知道,我們国家的各种建設事業,都在迅速發展,因而也就需要大量的建設人才。在五六年內全國絰濟建設需要中級和初級技術幹部五十萬人左右,需要高級技術幹部和管理幹部十五萬人左右。因此就需要用革命的辦法去培養中級和高級的建設人才。在培養高級建设人才方面,除培養青年學生並爭取、團結、教育、改造舊的知識分子、技術人員,使他們為國家的建設事業服

Guidelines, Tasks and Characteristics of Workers and Peasants in Speedy Secondary Schools Workers and peasants in speedy secondary schools are meant to train cadres and workers of industry and agriculture and industrial workers to become all kinds of senior specialists and become the backbone of the new China. This is the fundamental picture of building a new China; it is a powerful guarantee for China’s industrialization. Therefore, it is not only for meeting the cultural requirements of workers and peasants and cadres, but also for the needs of national construction. As we all know, all kinds of construction projects in our country are rapidly developing and therefore require a lot of construction personnel. In the next five or six years, the construction of economy in the country needs about half a million mid-level and junior technical cadres and about 150,000 senior technical cadres and management cadres. Therefore, we need a revolutionary approach to cultivate intermediate and advanced construction personnel. In training high-level construction personnel, in addition to cultivating young students and striving for unity, education and transformation of the old intellectuals and technicians so that they can serve the country’s construction work
