“不但…而且…”和“ntoonly…butalso…”都是用来加合具有递进关系分句的并列连词。但它们并不全部对应，在变体形式、语法意义及句法制约诸方面既有雷同又有差异。
“Not only ... but ...” and “ntoonly ... butalso ...” are all conjunctions used to sum up clauses with progressive relations. However, they do not all correspond to each other. There are similarities and differences in terms of variations, grammatical meanings and syntactic constraints.
