1.IntroductionrnARFI (Acoustic Radiation Force Impulse) imaging is a kind of vibration-based (driven by sound wave instead of external stress from the probe movement) elastography,which makes use of short-period focused acoustic pulses on tissue ROI (region of interest),to produce instant,micrometer level of displacement while transmitting broadband sound pulses to detect this displacement.Signal (or tissue) displacement depends on tissue elasticity and ARFI schemes can detect tissue lesion with high resolution quantitatively.
