随着我国经济的快速发展,酒店行业也迅速的发展了起来。酒店行业的发展亦如雨后春笋并取得了一片欣欣向荣的景象,与此同时,也对酒店的人才提出了更高的要求。大家都知道,我们国家与其他国家的友好往来日益频繁,在我们国家有很多国人出国留学,但是随之而来也有许多外国朋友来我们国家旅游、生活等,面对这一现象,针对于高职院校酒店管理专业的学生来讲,毕业后一定会进入酒店工作。所以,当他们在接待外国友人的过程中一定会用到英语交流。如果他们的英语水平低下,就不能胜任在酒店工作。当今的形势下,酒店管专业的学生越来越多,英语教学质量却明显下降,尤其是酒店管理专业的英语实践性教学更不乐观。酒店管理专业的英语实践性教学质量的提高,是培养复合型英语人才的关键,要想提高酒店管理专业的英语实践性教学质量,就必须重视英语实践性教学能力的培养等途径,来达到提高酒店管理专业英语教学质量提高的目的。所以本文首先分析了高职酒店管理专业英语教学存在的问题,同时为了提高高职院校酒店管理专业英语实践教学质量,通过思考发表了自己的几点看法。 With the rapid economic development in our country, the hotel industry has also developed rapidly. As we all know, the friendly exchanges between our country and other countries have become increasingly frequent. Many people in our country have gone abroad for study, but many foreign friends have come to our country to travel and live there. In the face of this phenomenon, Vocational college hotel management students, after graduation will enter the hotel work. Therefore, when they receive foreign friends, they will certainly use English to communicate. If they have a low level of English, they will not be able to work in the hotel. In today’s situation, there are more and more students in the hotel management profession, and the quality of English teaching is obviously declining. Especially, the practical teaching of English in hotel management is less optimistic. The improvement of practical English teaching in Hospitality Management is the key to training compound talents of English. To improve the practical teaching quality of English management in Hospitality Management, we must attach importance to the cultivation of English practical teaching ability so as to improve Hotel management professional English teaching quality improvement purposes. Therefore, this article first analyzes the problems existing in higher vocational hotel management English teaching, and in order to improve the English teaching practice of hotel management specialty in higher vocational colleges, I put forward my views through thinking.
