随着十届三中全会的召开,改革开放崭新局面的全面深入地铺展,计划经济向市场经济的转轨以及政治经济体制的日臻完善,中国在不经意问便步入了一个伟大而艰巨的历史变革的时代,社会亦由此进入转型期。这场变革在精神领域打下的深深烙印就是传统伦理[1]的崩溃与突变,进而导致社会对新的道德准则的聚合与构建的迫切要求,而“民德”则在这栋新伦理大厦构筑中扮演着实质内容性与基础性的角色,在某种程度上,是否可以这样界定,“民德”不仅反映了时代性的社会精神风貌,而且代表了一种表征性与放射性的社会秩序甚而影射为一个民族的文化底蕴以及继承与创新的精神。笔者由是论之。
