In June 2013, the German fashion brand Hugo Boss announced the appointment of the American-Chinese designer Jason Wu as artistic director for Boss Womenswear. He will be responsible for the creative direction of all product lines in the women’s clothing brand as well as the image design for the branded clothing and accessories line. Jason Wu said he will bring the feminine and powerful women’s designs to the brand, echoing Hugo Boss’s authority over men’swear. This is just one of the steps that Hugo boss has expanded rapidly in recent years.
