厦门钨业下属子公司虹鹭钨钼工业有限公司于2012年4月26日成功研制出中国第一个旋压钼坩埚，该工艺和技术在钼坩埚方面的应用属于国内领先水平，打破了该产品只能由国外公司供货的局面，开创了国产钼坩埚旋压先河。该产品和项目将为中国国内蓝宝石晶体生产所需的优质钼坩埚提供有力的保障。
