目前,我国测定震源深度,大部分是用pP、sP或sS等深震震相,也有时用核面反射波PcS、ScP、ScS等震相,但很少用球核穿透波SKS。当然在深震震相比较清楚,初动尖锐的情况下,所测定的h是比较可靠的,但有一些地震记录深震震相极弱或根本记录不到时,就很有必要去寻求其它震相来测定震源深度。下面,讨论一下SKS震相的传播路径与记录特征;SKS—P与S—P求震源深度曲线的汇制和实际测量精度;识别SKS震相的重要性和今后这项工作的几点意见。
At present, most deep seismic focal depths in China are measured with deep seismic facies such as pP, sP or sS, and sometimes with nuclear reflections such as PcS, ScP and ScS. However, few nuclei penetrate the wave SKS. Of course, when the deep earthquake is relatively clear and the initial move is sharp, the measured h is more reliable. However, when some deep seismic events of seismic records are very weak or can not be recorded at all, it is necessary to seek other Seismic phase to determine focal depth. In the following, we discuss the propagation paths and recording features of the seismic phases of SKS; the compilation and actual measurement accuracy of the depth profiles of the SKS-P and S-P sources; and the importance of identifying the seismic phase of SKS and some suggestions for future work.
