党的先进性,其基本内涵和要求,是具体的、历史的、实践的、客观的,也是纯洁的,决不是抽象空洞、束之高阁、一劳永逸的教条;必须把它放到推动当代中国先进生产力和先进文化的发展中去考察,放到维护和实现最广大人民群众根本利益的奋斗中去考察,归根到底要看党在推动历史进程中的作用。
The advanced nature of the party and its basic connotation and requirements are specific, historical, practical, objective and pure. They are by no means abstract dogma, and they are bound to put one foot in their clothes once and for all. They must be placed in the position of promoting the advanced productive forces in contemporary China and Examining the development of advanced culture and examining the struggle to uphold and realize the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people and ultimately the role of the party in pushing forward the historical process.
