In order to solve the problem of low channel resource utilization caused by long propagation delay in wireless networks, a Medium Access Control (MAC) protocol based on fast reservation on demand (FRODT) is proposed. The protocol uses the central control node (CCN) to arrange the reservation and sending of packets on each channel on two channels, ensuring that each node can send one or more service packets without collision in one frame, and each node handshakes Reservation can complete the entire communication meeting of the business packet sent, thus reducing the handshake caused by excessive propagation delay, greatly improving the performance of multiple access. The simulation results show that the FRODT protocol has better channel throughput, lower average packet access delay and lower average packet discard rate than the centralized scheduling based MAC (CSMAC) protocol, especially for long propagation delay environments Site performance.
