对14个籽粒苋品种(其中10个引自美国、4个为国内品种)的种子、叶、茎的营养成分进行了分析。结果表明,种子中的蛋白质、赖氨酸及脂肪含量显著高于一般谷类作物,特别是赖氨酸含量为小麦的2倍,小米的3倍,而亮氨酸含量则低于一般谷类作物。故籽粒苋与玉米、小麦等谷类作物的种子相混合时,将在营养成分上起互补作用,使氨基酸配比更加平衡而适合于人类的营养要求。籽粒苋的叶子与茎也含有丰富的蛋白质与赖氨酸,达到优质饲草紫花苜蓿的水平,故可用作高蛋白优质饲料。加之,其播种量小(750克/公顷左右)、繁殖系数高(3000),这对节约粮食具有重要意义。
The nutritional components of the seeds, leaves and stems of 14 amaranth varieties (10 of which were from the United States and 4 of which were domestic varieties) were analyzed. The results showed that the content of protein, lysine and fat in seeds was significantly higher than that of cereals. Especially the content of lysine was twice that of wheat and three times of that of millet, while the content of leucine was lower than that of common cereals. Therefore, grain amaranth and corn, wheat and other cereals when the seeds are mixed, will play a complementary nutritional components, so that a more balanced amino acid ratio and suitable for human nutrition requirements. Grain amaranth leaves and stems are also rich in protein and lysine, reaching the level of high quality forage alfalfa, it can be used as high-protein high-quality feed. In addition, the seeding rate is small (about 750 g / ha) and the breeding coefficient is high (3000), which is of great significance for saving grain.
