近年来,人们的陕北白绒山羊地方品种资源保护意识逐渐淡化,单纯地追求经济利益,忽视了其品种资源保护及利用,遗传资源受到严重威胁。为了实现陕北白绒山羊产业持续、稳定、健康发展,开发其绒肉兼用潜能,发展绒产品生产,推广多绒型变异和一年两胎的频密产羔方式,适当增加群体基础母羊数量,对现有的陕北白绒山羊品种资源保护和有效、合理持续利用有重要意义。
