本文主要讨论用人工有性杂交的方法,通过选配合适的父本,GT_1的某些缺陷性状进行改良的可能性及初步结果.橡胶树无性系GT_1选育至今已有62年了.初生代无性系GT_1,由于综合性状好,适应性广,目前已被各主要植胶国广泛栽培.然而,随着种植国家的增多和地区的扩大,亦暴露了某些缺陷性状.尤其.在有寒地区,GT_1的树冠易受寒害,亟需改良.就目前所取得的改良效果而言,行之有效的办法有二:一是取其树干,接上其它抗寒品系的树冠组成“冠接树”.二是以GT_1为母本,选配合适的父本进行人工杂交,繁衍优良有性系并从中选择优良个体建立优良无性系.试验的初步结果表明:用有性杂交方法,不但可获得某些性状超亲的优良个体,尚可获得性状改良的有性群体.试验亦初步证明:RRIM600、停亮62~5和五星I_3;等无性系是改良GT_1某些缺陷性状的好父本.
