坐落在亦庄的北京经济技术开发区,自1992年动工至今是第七个年头。在这短短的时间里,开发区充分利用首都科技、文化、人才、信息等诸多优势,以吸纳高新技术产业、吸纳国际跨国公司和大型工业骨干企业为重点,逐步成为首都未来工业的重要基地和新的经济增长点。截止到1998年底,开发区吸纳入区企业已达294家,其中三资企业128家,总投资额16.5亿美元。入区的企业特别是外商投资企业呈现出规模大、世界著名企业和跨国公司多的特点,使开发区越来越显示出特有的生命力。随着开发区的开发建设和招商引资工作的进展,进入开发区企业工作的党员也日益增多。从1995年8月开发区组建第一个三资企业党支部开始,开发区工委一直把在三资企业建立党的组织作为工作重点,1998年加大了组建力度。到目前为止,有正式党员3人以上,具备建立党组织条件的20家三资企业已全部建立了党组织,不具备建组织条件的三资企业中的党员全部纳入联合党支部。
