业已证明参与调节房水循环的眼组织肾上腺素能受体属于β_2亚型。选择性β_2-肾上腺素能兴奋剂有降低人和动物眼压的功能。这类药物没有其它抗青光眼药物所具有的副作用,今后应用于临床治疗青光眼特别有价值。它们不影响瞳孔运动及调节,不引起血管收缩或充血,也不影响血压和心脏活动。间羟异丙肾上腺素(orciprenaline)、舒喘宁(albuterol)和间羟叔丁肾上腺素(terbutaline)对人眼具有理论上的效果。遗憾的是,这些药物的效力尚不足以成为青光眼的临床常规
The ocular adrenergic receptors involved in regulating aqueous humor circulation have been shown to belong to the β 2 subtype. Selective beta 2-adrenergic stimulants have the effect of reducing intraocular pressure in humans and animals. These drugs have no other anti-glaucomatous drugs side effects, the clinical application of glaucoma in the future is particularly valuable. They do not affect pupil movement and regulation, do not cause vasoconstriction or hyperemia, and do not affect blood pressure and heart activity. Orciprenaline, albuterol, and terbutaline have a theoretical effect on the human eye. Unfortunately, the efficacy of these drugs is not yet sufficient to become clinically common in glaucoma
