将三种不同的膨润土与模拟绿液的碱性溶液相混合分别观测其沉降速率、沉降时间、吸附性能以及膨胀容,发现钠基膨润土具有良好的吸附性能和高的膨胀容,可作为一种良好的吸附剂,另外,采用硅钼蓝法、能谱分析法以及红外光谱法对钠基膨润土在碱性溶液以及模拟绿液的碱性溶液中的抗碱性能进行了研究,结果表明:钠基膨润土在碱性溶液中未检测出任何游离硅元素(包括二氧化硅以及硅酸盐),并且随着含碱量以及pH的增加,钠基膨润土中仍然没有硅酸盐溶出,重要的是,它能够吸附绿液中的硅元素,除硅率可达40%-50%。所以,钠基膨润土的吸附溶胀性能好,在绿液中硅元素抗碱性强,不仅不引入硅元素还可以去除绿液中的硅元素,可作为一种良好的除硅剂成分。
