1950年10月8日,毛泽东正式发布了《给中国人民志愿军的命令》,宣布中国出兵朝鲜。10月19日,中国人民志愿军开赴朝鲜参战。父亲和总参谋部的工作重点随即转向了抗美援朝战争。
On October 8, 1950, Mao Zedong officially released the “Order for the Chinese People’s Volunteers,” announcing that China sent troops to North Korea. On October 19, the Chinese People’s Volunteers marched toward North Korea. The focus of his father’s and General Staff turned to the War to Resist U.S.A.Aid Korea.
