红凤是1962年以苹果品种红宝作母本、凤凰卵作父本杂交育成的苹果抗寒早熟新品种。果实扁圆形,平均单果重126.0 g,最大单果重145.0 g;果皮黄绿色,覆艳红霞或红色条纹;果肉白色,肉质细、脆,汁液多,风味甜,品质上等;可溶性固形物含量15.80%,总糖含量10.87%,总酸含量0.68%,维生素C含量234.10 mg/kg;在吉林省公主岭市,果实8月中旬成熟,抗寒、抗苹果树腐烂病能力强。2010年1月通过吉林省农作物品种审定委员会审定。
