Recently, another natural gas processing plant of Xinjiang Petroleum Bureau was put into use. Up to now, the Bureau has invested more than 1 billion yuan to build the Junggar Basin natural gas transmission system. At the same time, cultivating the natural gas consumer market will create conditions for the full entry into the natural gas market in the early next century. Xinjiang’s northern Xinjiang has a relatively developed economy. The utilization of natural gas in several major cities is still blank. The local government has the intention to use natural gas and improve the environment. In particular, Urumqi has already listed natural gas use as an important project to control atmospheric pollution. In order to lay a good foundation for the development of external markets, Xinjiang Petroleum Bureau has increased the scale of exploration and development of natural gas, added more than 20 billion cubic meters of natural gas reserves, built the Hutubi gas field, and invested nearly 1 billion yuan.
