信息社会里知识老化空前加快,终身学习成为个体生存的基本素质,而掌握自主学习能力是个体在终身学习型社会中得以发展的必须;在这种背景下推行的大学英语教学改革也以学习者自主学习能力的提高作为重要目标。面对中国大学生普遍多依赖后摄自主的现实,本文作者论证了在大学英语教学中提高大学生前摄自主以适应终身学习的必要性和有效途径。
