在德国,专门出版地质类图书、杂志的出版社并不多.且以家庭经营为主(就象国内的单干户).与中国的出版事业相比较德国的出版业有下列几个特征:一、在德国,几乎所有的出版社都是家族式或股份式的私营企业.出版社的规模大小不等,大的有雇员上千人,小的只有一、两人.出书数量相差也极大,最多的可达几千种,少的一年只出几本书.但是,以出地质图书、杂志为主的出版社一般来说规模不大,出书数量也不多.二、德国的出版社的出书范围没有限定.出版形式非常灵活,图书、杂志、丛书、软盘、报纸、会议文集等形式不拘.但一般都能形成和保持自己的出版特色.
There are not many publishing houses specializing in geology books and magazines in Germany, and they are mainly family businesses (like single-family households in China). Compared with China’s publishing industry, the publishing industry in Germany has the following features: Almost all publishers in Germany are family-owned or share-based private-owned companies, with publishing houses of varying sizes, with thousands of employees and only one or two of them small. Large, up to thousands of up to few books a few years only, but to a geological book, magazine-based publishers generally not large scale, the number of books is not much. Publishers have no limit on the scope of the books.The format of publication is very flexible, books, magazines, books, floppy disks, newspapers, conference proceedings, etc., but generally can form and maintain its own publishing features.
