全面小康、科学发展观、和谐社会是中国共产党从十六大到十六届四中全会两年多时间内提出的三大概念。这三个概念前后相继、环环相扣,三大概念的提出是建设中国特色社会主义实践的需要。三者之间有着紧密的内在联系:和谐社会与全面小康是长期历史过程与特定发展阶段的关系,而科学发展观又是建设全面小康和构建和谐社会所必须遵循的指导思想。
An overall well-to-do society, a scientific outlook on development and a harmonious society are the three major concepts put forward by the CPC from the 16th CPC National Congress to the Fourth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC Central Committee over two years. These three concepts have been linked up one after another, closely linked, the three concepts put forward is the need to build socialism with Chinese characteristics. The three are closely inter-linked: a harmonious society and an overall well-to-do society are the relationship between the long-term historical process and a specific stage of development. The scientific concept of development, on the other hand, is the guiding principle that must be followed in building an overall well-to-do society and building a harmonious society.
