Foreword X-ray radiography is a technique that uses X-rays as a penetrating radiation for photographs. Since 1895, this technology has been widely used in medical, industrial and various natural sciences. In 1962, American scholar W.K. Hamblin first applied X-ray imaging to sedimentary petrology.
